Looking for an opportunity for an adult with Down Syndrome to gain social skills, life skills, and work skills, while in a safe and structured environment? We have just that opportunity! Please join us on Thursdays for a full day of programming. The morning will be product-focused with the creation of mugs, greeting cards, honey preparation, etc. The afternoons will consist of social and community engagement opportunities such as meal planning/preparation, games, group outings, etc. There are a number of skills embedded within the programming content to help support and further develop individuals’ skills, such a math literacy, transit training, life skills, social skills, and work skills. We are excited to now bring the Market Store on select Saturdays. This will allow participants to come and have face-to-face contact with individuals who purchased a product, continuing to work on important social and life skills. Both program days are staff supported. Spots are limited due to COVID-19 Government Restrictions, to 10 participants. Email email@example.com to register!
