Resources for People with Down Syndrome in Peterborough

The Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough is the only current resource that covers all facets for individuals living with down syndrome at any age. We proudly work alongside these other amazing local organizations in order to offer the best circle of support for all of our community members.

Alternatives: Community program for adults living with developmental disabilities

Five Counties: Children’s physical, communicative and developmental support

Canopy Support Services: Support services for those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ASD & FASD 

Community Living: Providing service to individuals living with a developmental disability and their families

Special Olympics: Providing sport recreation to individuals living with a disability

Challenger Baseball: Adaptive baseball for individuals living with physical and/or cognitive disabilities

Peterborough Child and Family Services: Connecting families and those with young children to resources

Peterborough Social Services: Connecting residents of Peterborough to supports

Family Alliance Ontario: Offering knowledge, tools and networking opportunities to individuals with disabilities, their family and friends.
