Meet The DSP Team!
Board Members
Cindy Wilson is long-standing member of the Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough, joining our agency 2 short months after her son was born, and first becoming a member of the Board of Directors in 2014. An educator of over 25 years, she has always had a deep commitment to those in the special needs community, but those ties rooted further with the birth of her son, Matthew, 20 years ago. Matthew is one of four children; he is brother to Emma, Ben, and Abby, all of whom love their big brother and his friends at the DSP. Cindy has been a proud advocate for our Association over the years. Aside from giving her time to the DSP, Cindy and her husband Brett also support the DSP by donating to the Association through the sales of their local, natural honey. The whole family feels fortunate for all that the Down Syndrome Association has brought to their lives.
